Our Assistant Production Manager is an experienced leader capable of managing shifting priorities, overseeing our diverse workforce, and delivering on process improvement for our production facility.
The ideal individual for this role with work alongside our Technical Advisor to ensure that client orders are processed appropriately and efficiently, while promoting a welcoming work environment geared toward learning and development.
Our ideal candidate will be familiar with screen printing and eager to grow his or her knowledge of the field alongside our staff.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinates daily production assignments and delegates tasks accordingly to ensure client deadlines are met Oversees personnel performance and training, issuing corrective action in conjunction with HR when appropriate to ensure shop standards are consistently enforced Ensure internal procedures are followed consistently to reduce the instance of rejects Provide continual support and structure for all press teams on the floor Coordinate with Production Operations Manager to assist in internal review procedures while ensuring that the production leads maintains appropriate professionalism as a company representative regarding socialization and discussions May need to cover overtime shifts that can occur on weekends Requirements:
Proven experience in production management or related role Solid understanding of quality control principles and practices Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure Exceptional organizational and time management skills Project Management skills Microsoft Office skills Job Type:
