Omnium Brewing is known for its exceptional brews, food and vibrant community, is seeking a dynamic Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team.
This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the craft beer industry while showcasing your digital marketing skills.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Assist in developing and executing a social media content calendar to drive engagement and build a loyal online community.
Create visually compelling and engaging content (graphics, photos, videos, etc.
) for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to foster a positive and interactive online presence.
Content Creation:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create captivating blog posts, articles, and newsletters that highlight our brewery's culture, events, and unique beer offerings.
Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos during brewery events, beer releases, and behind-the-scenes moments.
Event Promotion:
Assist in promoting brewery events, festivals, and beer releases through social media and other digital marketing channels.
Identify and engage with relevant online influencers, bloggers, and beer enthusiasts to increase event attendance and brand awareness.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new marketing opportunities.
Analyze data and social media insights to measure the success of marketing campaigns and suggest improvements for future initiatives.
Brewery Support:
Collaborate with different departments within the brewery to understand the brewing process, our brand story, and the brewery's unique selling points.
Support the team in various marketing tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a marketing, communications, or related program.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
Proficient in using graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar software.
Basic knowledge of photography and video editing tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for craft beer and enthusiasm to learn about the brewing industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
